Chill Lounge Episode Number 09 - Brazilectro Special No. 1
	This special Chill Lounge double-edition episode takes you on a daydream to a beach in Brazil, sipping a Chaiparina and enjoying the sights and sounds of Brazil dub style! Many of the remix artists you hear on the Chill Lounge such as Tosca, Boozoo Bajou, Fila Brazillia, Thievery Corp, and Dhizan n Kamien are not only specialists at remixing Jazz and Jamaican dub into new styles, but are maestros at remixing 1960s Bossa Nova Brazilian tunes into the new forms called "Bossa Brava" or "Brasilectro." This week, the Chill Lounge sets sail to Brazil to get you chilling in a tropical groove.

	Caliente!  Fresco!  Let's check out some fresh music from Latin America. This version of the Chill Lounge features fresh or "fresco" mixes, hot or "caliente" grooves, and the rich flavor or "sabor" of ambient groove, downtempo, funk and jazz from Latin America.  This chilled grooveset features music from many Latin countries including Cuba, with Sergent Garcia; Venezuela with Los Amigos Invisibles; UK with Fila Brasilllia; from Brazil, la bella Bebel Gilberto; from Buenos Aires, Federico Aubele; from San Franciso funky Los Moscosos; do Brazil el Ministro from Cultura, Gil Gilberto;  from Espana, Mano Negra; from Brooklyn,  Paul Simon y his Brazilian band; from Vienna, Damen & Khazien; Bob Holroyd from US; from Brazil, Suba Tributo.  Tenemos mas sabor que Flavor Flav tiene novias (we have more flavor than Flavor Flav has girlfriends!). 	Take a seat in your easy chair. Grab your favorite beverage and a set of headphones. For episode seven of the Chill Lounge, we march into new groove territory at the intersection of dub, downtempo, brazilectro, afrobeat and acid jazz. Episode seven brings us the subtle downtempo Brazilian bossa riddims in a remix of Roni Size's Heroes by Peter Kruder's "Long Bossa edition", followed by a new track from Boozoo Bajou titled "Take it Slow" featuring U-Brown in a remix of Fat Freddy's Drop. Next up we rewind for some Buckshot LeFonque in The Caged Bird Sings, followed by a series of Indian-inspired downtempo grooves from Marshmellows, the Funky Lowlives, and a two song set from G-Stone's Ambient and Mellowmooves LP. The show withcludes with Global Underground After Hours 2's "One Night in Tokyo" with a Cottonbelly (Sade) remix, followed by a Walkner Mostl/Dorfmeister blend of "Down" and "Shakatoobdub." 	For episode six of the Chill Lounge, we have mixed up a special blend of downtempo and latin chill tunes to warm up the winter nights and take you on a trip to the tropics. Episode 06 starts off with a remix of Frankey Valley's "Imagination" from Richard Dorfmeister, and then goes into an extended Latin set of chilled grooves featuring Boozoo Bajou's "Night of Manaus," Bebel Gilberto's "Bananeria," the Gotan Project's "Buenos Aires de Santa Maria," and Federico Aubele with "Hotel GranHotelBuenosAires" For the remainder of the show, we have a segment from a special live mix of Kruder & Dorfmeister's "Liquid Acid" show with their dubbed-out dance remix of Madonna's "...Like The Future", The Thievery Corporation and David Byrne with "The Heart's a Lonely Hunter," The Troublemakers with "Chez Roger Boite Funk," a Verve Remix of Willie Bobo, and finally Fila Brazillia with "Harmonicas are Shiite." 	For episode four of the Chill Lounge, we have a special guest track with a remix of Tosca's Fxxk Dub - DJ Larz Mad Skillz Remix. Since today is Super Bowl Sunday in the USA, we start off the show with the studio version of Ozomatli's "Super Bowl Sundae", and head into some funky territory with Boozoo Bajou, DJ Larz, and some selections from the OM Lounge series. Mid-show sees some old-school lounge from Bryan Ferry with "Kiss and Tell", and Steely Dan with a funky-jazz track "Fez", followed by a rework of Herbie Hancock's Cantaloop, remixed for the FunkenJazzenGrooven special LP. Finally, we finish up the show with a special remix of Fred Sanford vs. The Showroom Dummies by DJ Chill Will.
